In this class we will explore different movement concepts starting with moving with the support of the floor moving gradually up. As we move with the support of our bones and muscles we will direct and counter direct movement, allow falling into the space and using momentum to direct and redirect the body. While we work with the physical principals we try to stay open to the sensing body.
ABOUT
Julia Kathriner ist eine freischaffende Tänzerin. Ihre Tanzausbildung erhielt sie an der Palucca Schule Dresden.
Sie arbeitet mit unterschiedlichen Choreografen und Tanzkompanien. Von 2012 bis 2014 beschäftigt sie sich mit der Body Mind Centering Methode, während sie das Somatic Movement Education Programm (SME) absolvierte. Ihr Interesse liegt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Nichtwissen und Bewegungsneugier. Julia spinnt an einem Gewebe von Bildkörpern in Stillstand und Bewegung, zwischen Frieden und Ausschlag. 2018 beendete sie den Master für zeitgenössische Tanzvermittlung an der HfMDK Frankfurt am Main.
